Summer brings the entertainment outdoors for festivals and concerts on those warm evenings.
On any weekend (and even weekdays), you can listen to local musicians or catch some national acts playing throughout the Yakima Valley. Grab your sunglasses and lawn chairs and come on over for a weekend of sunshine and music paired with your favorite craft beverages.
Cinco de Mayo in the Yakima Valley

Cinco de Mayo is the largest cultural event in the Yakima Valley, celebrating Latino culture and heritage. Cinco de Mayo celebrations are planned throughout the valley with the largest occurring in Sunnyside and Yakima. Enjoy live entertainment with dancing horses, carnivals and unforgettable authentic Mexican food.

This one day event is a celebration of craft beverages produced in the Yakima Valley, and features nationally touring Bluegrass, Americana and Folk bands. Tickets are on sale now for $15 or $20 at the door! You can purchase them online at The Capitol Theatre Box Office.

Experience an amazing summer evening! This is the premier open-air concert of the year, with one of Yakima’s most entertaining bands,The Shreds. The 8th annual Music in the Vines Summer Series is held out at Gilbert Cellar’s Hackett Ranch, where you get to experience talented musicians playing next to sweeping views of the orchard and vineyards.
